Professional Training & Consultation

Somatic, trauma-informed, and nervous-system education for professionals, organizations, and community settings

I offer workshops, presentations, professional consultation, and training for clinicians, helping professionals, organizations, teams, and community spaces.

My teaching brings together somatic psychotherapy, nervous-system regulation, trauma-informed care, attachment and co-regulation, consent and pacing, resilience, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and embodied practice.

Trainings are designed to be grounded, accessible, experiential, and practical.

The intention is to help people understand the nervous system, support regulation, create more trauma-informed environments, and apply these ideas in real relationships, clinical work, organizations, events, and daily life.

Who This Is For

Workshops and trainings can be adapted for different audiences, settings, and levels of experience.

Mental Health Professionals

Training for therapists, counselors, social workers, case managers, coaches, body-oriented practitioners, and other professionals interested in trauma-informed somatic work.

Healthcare and Helping Professionals

Support for professionals who work with stress, trauma, grief, burnout, caregiving, recovery, nervous-system dysregulation, or emotional overwhelm.

Organizations and Teams

Consultation and training for teams wanting to build more trauma-informed, relationally aware, and nervous-system-supportive environments.

Community and Nonprofit Settings

Education for community spaces, nonprofits, peer-support settings, and groups seeking accessible language and practical tools for regulation and resilience.

Festivals, Retreats, and Events

Workshops or nervous-system support for events where people may benefit from grounding, orienting, regulation, integration, and embodied presence.

Creative and Somatic Communities

Offerings for groups interested in embodiment, creativity, rhythm, movement, connection, nature, mindfulness, and meaningful participation in life.

Areas of Focus

Nervous-Stem Regulation

Understanding activation, shutdown, orienting, grounding, support, capacity, and the body’s pathways back toward greater organization.

Attachment and Co-Regulation

Exploring how relationship, safety, closeness, distance, rupture, repair, and receiving support influence regulation and resilience.

Somatic Trauma-Informed Care

Applying somatic principles in ways that emphasize pacing, choice, consent, resource, embodiment, and respect for protective responses.

Consent, Boundaries, and Agency

Supporting clearer choice, embodied boundaries, collaborative pacing, and practices that reduce pressure, compliance, or overwhelm.

Resilience and Embodied Practice

Practical ways to support steadiness, recovery, movement, rest, rhythm, creativity, nature connection, and fuller participation in life.

Values, Meaning, and Action

Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles to connect nervous-system capacity with values, behavior, flexibility, and meaningful action.

How I Teach

My teaching style is experiential, practical, and relational.

A workshop may include nervous-system education, somatic practices, reflection, demonstration, discussion, partner or small-group exercises, case examples, movement, mindfulness, orienting, grounding, and integration time.

I aim to make complex ideas accessible without oversimplifying them.

Participants are invited to notice their own experience, move at a workable pace, ask questions, and adapt or decline practices when needed. I do not use exercises that require forced emotional release, eyes closed participation, or pushing beyond capacity.

The goal is not only to understand concepts intellectually. The goal is to support embodied learning that can be carried into clinical practice, organizational life, relationships, events, and daily situations.

Professional Consultation

Professional consultation may be available for clinicians, practitioners, organizations, and teams seeking support around somatic psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, nervous-system regulation, attachment, pacing, consent, boundaries, program design, or event support.

Consultation may include discussing clinical themes, developing trauma-informed language, supporting nervous-system-aware programming, preparing for workshops or events, or helping teams think through how to create more supportive environments.

Consultation is educational and collaborative. It does not replace clinical supervision, legal consultation, medical advice, emergency response, or an organization’s own ethical and professional responsibilities.

Custom Training Requests

Workshops and trainings can be adapted to the needs of the group.

When planning a training, we can consider the audience, setting, group size, time available, desired level of experiential practice, professional background, accessibility needs, and the kinds of outcomes that would be most useful.

Possible settings include conferences, agencies, private practices, community organizations, retreat spaces, festivals, professional groups, and teams.

You are welcome to reach out with a specific idea or a general sense of what your group is needing. We can clarify together whether a presentation, workshop, consultation, or custom training would be the best fit.

Interested in a workshop or training

You are welcome to reach out if you are interested in a presentation, professional training, consultation, workshop, or event offering.

We can discuss your setting, audience, goals, timing, and what kind of support would be most useful.
